Jacob grinned to himself. Hopefully this school would be better than the last ...
He found New Moon High by chance when he was running away from his old school - which was overrun by vampires. It really stank there.

Hopefully, this school would have some normal human beings.
Not that he was one, though. He was actually a werewolf.
Not one of those shape-shifter dudes who inherit the same form of animal as their ancestors.
He only transformed during the times of the full moon.

Jacob opened his locker and snatched the books that were already in there - the books he would be needing for the year.
He shoved them inside his bag, and slammed the door shut.
Time to take it all to the dorm ...
