The scent of Nostalgia [PUBLIC]

Marina gripped the handles of her shopping bags as she walked out of the Mall.

Since she'd been here, she'd wrecked over four of her own shirts, just from feeding

She took a deep, unecessary breath and frowned at the disgusting smell in the air.

It smelt ... unapetizing and warm.
She turned around, just to spot the open doors of a bakery.
It hit her like a ton of bricks - she hadn't been able to eat a cake in over a year. She used to love stuffing herself with chiffons and éclairs, fraisiers and red velvets ... and croissants - the croissants! How she missed the what-used-to-be delightful smell of chocolate in the air ... being a vampire really did suck, at times.
